Our chickens are raised outdoors allowing them an abundance of fresh air and sunshine, while protecting them from predators.  Our chickens are a slower growing breed than commercially available chicken requiring 12 weeks to reach processing age. This type of chicken is used in the "Label Rouge" program. We will be taking orders for fresh pastured chickens beginning January 2, 2010.  The average weights are 3-5lb at $5.00/lb.  Individual cuts are available.  We also offer bulk pricing for large orders.

 

Pastured eggs have less cholesterol and more Omega-3's than commercially available eggs.  We are offering brown, white and all natural colored Easter Eggs.  Most of the brown eggs are from "Heritage" breed chickens, in need of preservation for maintaining genetic diversity.  If you have a color preference, please let us know in advance so we can better accommodate you.  Cost is $3.00/dz. 

All of our cows are steroid-free, antibiotic-free, and hormone-free.  Our cows are rotated to fresh pastures frequently.  We have a variety of beef cuts and packages to suit your needs.  Please contact us for a complete price list. 

 

 

Pastured Pork will be available Fall 2009.  Quantity is limited, we recommend placing deposits now to reserve the amount of pork you and your family will need.  We will keep you updated on these breeds.  Red Wattle pigs are listed as "critical" by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
